Such a crazy romp through the night . Wham Glam delights with its time capsule of fashion and teen extremes. If you lived through this period it's a great trip and if you didn't - your loss. A definite read - short but very very sweet.
This is a fun book of short stories about the 70's rock scene on Sunset Blvd. I love this era of music and the author really nails the sight and sounds of the times. You feel like you're a fly on the wall during those wild nights with these two girls. A must for anyone who longs for that glamorous rock world of the 70's, especially fans of David Bowie! If you liked "Almost Famous", this book is for you.
Have you ever wished you could step back in time and watch the Glitter Rock scene unfold in 1970's Hollywood (spearheaded by DJ Rodney Bingenheimer)? If so, this is the story that will put you right there! Put on Ziggy Stardust or Electric Warrior and go for a ride into a the decadent world of teenagers Jemmie and Dara. I give this an easy 5 stars and if somebody doesn't option this story they are idiots! This read like a movie and should be made into one! I am looking forward to more great stories from this author!
