The author has me hooked; I want to know more of the story! It is a subject matter perfect to be expanded into a full length book and or a trilogy.
The author gave us an exciting, fast paced story. The suspense just kept on building, and then the ending was something I never expected!! Excellent!! Are there any more like this; I am looking forward to his next one!!
A highly entertaining read for any fan of adventure. Buy it today if you want a rip-roaring story about soldiers of fortune.
This author does his homework, his descriptions of the oil rig, weapons and equipment were precise and his characters were interesting. I have not read a short story in many years. Mchale held me right to the end, his surprise had me shaking my head. I want more from him in the future. A novel at least.
As a fan of this genre, I truly enjoyed the short story; The biggest disappointment was that the story is only 51 pages. I hope that the author will further develop the character and tell about more missions in futures stories/books.
The story moves at a brisk pace, and the complete view of the story and characters is revealed layer by layer, in the tradition of the best film and television thrillers. With the set up of the main character, the author has laid the foundation for an enjoyable serial; looking forward to the next "episode"!
