From the book

James Lexington Morlake, gentleman of leisure, Lord of the Manor of Wold and divers other titles which he rarely employed, unlocked the drawer of his elaborate Empire writing-table and gazed abstractedly into its depths. It was lined with steel and there were four distinct bolts. Slowly he put in his hand and took out first a folded square of black silk, then a businesslike automatic pistol, then a roll of fine leather. He unfastened a string that was tied about the middle and unrolled the leather on the writing-table. It was a hold-all of finely-grained sealskin, and in its innumerable pockets and loops was a bewildering variety of tools, grips, ratchets – each small, each of the finest tempered steel.

The circle series is one of the best I have read. As someone who isn’t very spiritual and turned off by contemporary Christian media, I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. I though the writing style was similar to James Dashner (Maze Runner,) as the chapters were sometimes short, sometimes longer, and he kept the story moving constantly. If you want an in depth analysis, I’m not your guy. There are plenty of reviews for this.

The book however, is very good quality. It is rather large. But, what do you expect from a 1600+ page book? I really enjoyed this being packaged together, because it has the alternate ending, the original ending, as well as the interview with the author. The original ending is absolutely dreadful! I do not enjoy reading on a kindle/tablet, and this allowed me to have all the books together along with the alternate ending.

The Black eBook Edgar Wallace Reviews

This series was recommended to me and I usually don't like trilogies, I like stories that start and end in one book, but I have read other books by Ted Dekker and liked them so I thought I would give these a try. I couldn't stop reading, the concept is different from anything else I've read, I fell in love with the characters and wanted only good things to happen to Thomas Hunter! The story was written so well I felt like crying when he cried, laughed when he laughed, you ride the wave of confusion with him, so well written. This is a great read.
Ted Dekker's Circle series is 1594 pages of mystery, intrigue, adventure, suspense, and above all love, four original books bound into one. Dekker is a master story teller. This story captured my soul the first time I read it. Its a mind bender, intellectually stimulating, yet emotionally satisfying. Dekker takes God out of a religious box and like fireworks, gives the reader an explosion of God's love in living color. I have read this series multiple times. Its the song of victory...of triumph over evil. A MUST read. The only thing I didn't like was the weight of this volume; its a little awkward to hold. But the price was worth it. Included in the final pages is even the original ending to Green and a fascinating interview with the author.
I enjoyed it a lot! A really good / fun read. I was a bit flustered by the last book and the different endings but they were overall helpful in tying things together & completing the circle (so to speak). My close friend, who read the A.D. books with me took to the 'circle' books & we had a blast discussing the characters & events, etc. The last book was a bit darker than I liked & gave me some hesitation in giving it to my granddaughter; hence the 4 stars. But Ted Dekker is great at writing. Love all his books I've read so far.
it's not just about money. When you’re worried about how you can survive in the future, you keep your head down. Your afraid to look up. Financial literacy allows you to shift your gaze and thats when your realize how much of the world you’ve been missing #aaronwsmith

This was such an amazing book. Filled with a wealth of financial information and tips to securing your finances and preparing for retirement no matter your circumstance. Geared toward African Americans, Mr. Smith tackles wide held limiting beliefs and myths surrounding investing and retirement planning. While providing supporting stories and analytical data that support financial peace and a secured retirement can be achieved-despite any financial missteps you may have taken paired with the inequities set up by the American infrastructure that has long hindered traditional routes of generational wealth for many minorities.

I LOVE this book so much. In the personal finance space it can be a little cringe worthy listening to stories of privileged dressed up in despair when you read or listen to stories of people paying off $80000 in debt in say 6 months. Lol Then these “gurus” proceed to almost shame small wage earners with what they claim
is general advice that they too can get it done if only they just....**rolls eyes**

Although this book talks on the importance of paying down debt, investing, and keeping alive your faith as you make the necessary changes in your life and grow towards financial literacy. It’s so encouraging and I was sad to see it end.
Oh my goodness, this is an awesome series!
I have read a lot of Ted Dekker books, but these were the best! I have no idea why it took me so long to find these books...
How wonderful to be able to finish one, and get right into the next.
Dekker has an amazing ability to define good vs. evil, and tell the redemption story in such a unique way!
I am a Christian, and love the way he uses the drowning as the way to die to ourselves, and rise with Christ...what a beautiful analogy!
As always, his characters are well written, and keep you wanting to go further into the stories.
This is not my usual genre. I’m a real softy for romance. However, a friend recommended these plus I fell in love with Ted’s devotional “The Forgotten Way”. I thought, why not? Oh. my. goodness. I couldn’t put them down. All four of them. Then there were the moments I HAD to put them down and process for a little while. Now, I can’t wait to read his other books. As for romance, what greater love story is there than The Great Romance?!! I feel like I have a deeper understanding of my own faith and this beautiful, unending, ever unfolding love story between myself and God.
This is a series you will read over and over. I was amazed after reading this book series that it ties into so many of Ted Dekker's other books. The storyline is so incredible that you keep wondering which realm is real and which is a dream. The bottom line is that GOD, our creator LOVES US SO MUCH !!!!!
I didn't want the series to end!!
